Single.Earth’s online platform allows forests, wetlands and other natural areas to generate income by remaining intact, saving their owners from having to sell their resources for profit. Instead, owners are rewarded for preserving ecosystems. Land is tokenized and holders are rewarded through carbon credits. The goal is to monetize nature for its real value, i.e. the ecosystem services that keep us alive. Nature is the most precious resource on this planet and is essential to our survival.
Single.Earth creates a systemic change in the way we value nature financially. It monetizes the ecological value of nature, such as carbon sequestration and biodiversity. Nature becomes a tradable and liquid asset class, reflecting its true worth.
